After all the rumors about Van Dyke Cafe’s closing date, we finally have confirmation that it's happening this week. On Sunday, January 26, the 20 year-old Lincoln Road staple restaurant and live music venue will officially close its doors with one last celebration. Fans can stop by Sunday from 5 PM-close for a free toast while enjoying fare like the legendary beer-battered fish 'n' chips. And while it's a sad day for Miamians, there's some good news: the website states they're trying to find a new locale for a targeted spring reopening. As for its old address, we're not completely sure what's to come of the historic green vine-covered building, but rumor has it some retail shops are in the works.
