Weekend Planner: Pisco Cocktails and Fried Quail

The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions presents On the Wine Trail to Paso Robles November 14 at 7 PM, featuring a four-course menu paired with six wines. Dishes include chicken fried quail and buttermilk waffles with Pomar Junction Merlot as well as foie gras and jelly with Pomar Junction late harvest Viognier. Tickets are $55 per person and can be purchased here.


Local chefs and mixologists create specialty dishes and cocktails at the LuckyRice Festival on November 15 at The Raleigh Hotel. Guests will taste mahi mahi tacos from CATCH Miami, baked crispy char stew buns from Hakkasan and gin lemonade Bombay Sapphire from Juvia. Tickets range from $88-$125; get them here.


Haven hosts its weekly themed party “Destination Saturdays” on November 16 to showcase chef Todd Erickson's new menu created with chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino from MALABAR in Lima. Expect dishes like a revamped variation of Haven’s Maki Peru roll. There's no cover charge (305-987-8885).

The Sabor Peru Gastronomic Festival takes place from November 16-17 at the Miami Airport Convention Center. Guests will enjoy pisco cocktail competitions, cooking classes and several Peruvian dishes. General admission is $22 per person and VIP is $65 per person (purchase here).


The News Lounge offers its Groovin Garden organic brunch November 17 from 11 AM-5 PM. The menu features healthy vegan-friendly options alongside drink specials like $18 bottomless mimosas and $15 sangria pitchers. A small farmer's market will also take place (305-758-9932).
