What to Eat at the SONY Open Tennis Tournament

By Carissa Chesanek  |  March 13, 2014

Every March, the SONY Open Tennis Tournament hits our city at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, offering fans riveting matches along with some pretty darn good food. While watching Ana Ivanovic and Serena Williams on court, you're bound to grow hungry (and thirsty). Here are a few tasty options to help you fuel up.

- Sip on tennis-themed cocktails like Power Serve made with Grey Goose and Moët Chandon-infused Kir Royale while watching the tennis pros duke it out. Various sips are available on site from 2-6 PM.

- The New York City-based catering company Great Performances teams up with local top chefs to offer food from all over the globe including pizzas from Puntino Pizzeria and empanadas from Novecento

- And if you're either a member of the Collectors Club (presented by Chateau Group Residences) or a Luxury Suite holder (at the Sony Open), you're in luck. You'll get upgraded to check out the special guest chef program with the likes of Peter Vauthy of Red, The Steakhouse and Michelle Bernstein of Michy’s whipping up some of their signature fancy, high-end fare.

- But don't worry if you're not an affiliate. There are always other things to look forward to, like hitting up the Michelob Ultra Beer Deck for a few brews or relaxing at the Moët & Chandon Sushi & Oyster Lounge for bubbly and rock shrimp tempura.
