By Carissa Chesanek | May 16, 2014 By Carissa Chesanek  |  May 16, 2014

Upper East Side hole-in-the-wall, The Federal, Food, Drink & Provisions is launching a new summertime five-course tasting menu ($24 per person) for brunch starting this Saturday, May 18. Offered  Saturdays and Sundays, it features items like breakfast nachos made with venison chili and fried egg and a jumbo lump crab salad sandwich served on buttered brioche. As for drinks, guests have the option of sticking with traditional unlimited mimosas ($19 per person) or opting for the rotating cocktails selections such as the Bubble’s Old Fashioned mixed with Boston bitters, Prosecco and Dolin rouge vermouth.

Dish We Can't Wait to Try: We'll take an order of the "cookies & cream" French Toast that's topped with Oreo crumble, ricotta whipped cream, chocolate sauce and maple syrup please - oh, and let's not forget the bottomless Prosecco-infused Ani Palmer mixed with jasmine tea, lemon and ginger to wash it down.
