Zak the Baker's Cafe Opens, Gelato-Go's New Outpost

Miami's own Zak Stern known as Zak the Baker (pictured) opens his first bakery cafe in Wynwood. Short Order says while the bakery is fully functioning, the cafe is still in the works but plans to serve guests items like "open-faced toasts with approachable but sophisticated spreads."

South Beach's Gelato-Go has opened a new location in Downtown. According to Miami.com, the new locale officially opens to the public today, May 5, and will offer breakfast at half price. 

South Beach's Lorenzo recently swapped chefs. Eater.com says that the new new executive chef will be Chris Wyman, who was recently from Scarpetta in New York.
