Zest: Cindy Hutson Coming to Downtown's Southeast Financial CenterBy Carissa Chesanek | May 22, 2014 By Carissa Chesanek | May 22, 2014
Ortanique On the Mile's chef Cindy Hutson, known for her globally-influenced cuisine, tropically-enhanced venues and colorful bandanas, will soon be expanding her talents to Downtown. Come fall, Hutson plans to open Zest, an international restaurant located inside the Southeast Financial Center (the state's tallest and largest office tower) next to the likes of The Newsstand Café by Books & Books, Spris and The Cheese Course. The spacious indoor/outdoor venue will feature an open kitchen, a glass enclosed wine cellar and private dining room. As for the menu, expect an eclectic mix of Asian, South American and Caribbean flavors paired with a solid wine program. There will also be a "grab-and-go" section called Zest Mrkt that will house an assortment of smoothies, juices, coffees and sandwiches that will be offered during both breakfast and lunch hours.
