Best Thing We Ate: Pork Chicharrón Nachos at Tequila Park

Warm weather means it's time to break out the patio furniture, which is why we headed to Hudson Common's seasonal outdoor pop-up Tequila Park. With margarita in hand, we couldn't resist ordering one of the "uncommon" antojitos, and were rewarded with a basket of pork chicharrón nachos. The puffed pork rind was covered in gooey cheese, crunchy jalapeños and moist pulled pork, an unbelievable mix of textures and flavors. The slightly salty taste from the chicharrónes made it incredibly challenging to keep our hands away from the basket, whether or not they scooped up the toppings or were eaten plain. Though not as heavy as typical nacho dishes, the dish helped satiate our appetite, which was needed considering the live mariachi band had us ready to dance the night away.
