Big Apple BBQ FastPasses Are Now Available

By Billy Lyons | December 16, 2013 By Billy Lyons  |  December 16, 2013

We know it's December, but the thought of pulled pork, smoked ribs, and dry rubbed brisket filling Madison Square Park has us marking off our calendars for the weekend of June 7 and 8. Thankfully, we're still in need of a sweet stocking stuffer, and a Big Apple BBQ holiday edition FastPass fits the bill. The $125 ticket, which goes on sale today at 2 PM, gives two people the right to head to the front of any food line and comes with a $100 food and beverage credit. The all-star line up of pitmasters includes New York's own Blue Smoke and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que as well as offerings from across the country like Baker's Ribs out of Dallas. Since the festival is expected to draw nearly 140,000 people, spending more time sampling BBQ as opposed to waiting in line is something we enjoy. As a holiday gift to those who purchase, the special pass can be used on both Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM and can be purchased through the festival's Web site.
