This past Saturday night, Brooklyn's iconic River Cafe finally reopened, after being shuttered for 15 months due to Hurricane Sandy. Chef Brad Steelman is at the helm in a brand-new kitchen while owner Michael "Buzzy" O'Keeffe has brought in all new dining room furniture, piano and installed new oak floors. As for the menu, expect many new seasonal American items. Check out updated info/reservations info on their website here and stay tuned for a first look inside the new space. [NYDN]
