Dale Talde Will Open Two Restaurants in Jersey CityBy James Mulcahy | October 11, 2013 By James Mulcahy | October 11, 2013
Jersey City just might be the next frontier in the local dining scene. The Garden State metropolis already plays host to top-notch restaurants like Thirty Acres, and today we have word that former Top Chef star Dale Talde is heading there to open an outpost of his namesake Park Slope restaurant, Talde.
The crew will also open an Italian-American market and restaurant dubbed Carrino Provisions, partnering with Alfonso and Antony Carrino and John Colaneri, whom you might recognize from HGTV's Kitchen Cousins or Cousins on Call. The eateries will be side by side in a building at 8 Erie Street. The opening is a year away, with "fall 2014" being offered as a date. The one question we have: why no accompanying branch of Pork Slope? Maybe one day.
