David Burke Townhouse Temporarily ClosesBy Billy Lyons | January 7, 2014 By Billy Lyons | January 7, 2014
In celebration of its ten year anniversary, Upper East Side mainstay David Burke Townhouse is temporarily closing for a quick face lift. The restaurant, which will not be available for booking beginning today, plans to reopen in time for Valentine's Day with a host of new features, including carving stations inside the main dining room. The menu is also getting a modern refresh, though Burke's reinvigorated kitchen is expected to retain many of the American fine dining room's popular dishes. Many of those Burke classics will be served at its sister restaurant, Fishtail by David Burke, during the brief renovation.
