First Look: Morimoto's Bisutoro Now Open in TriBeCa
With the changes that Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto has made to his TriBeCa space, it's like Tribeca Canvas never even existed. That's probably the point. His new Bisutoro opened last week, and as our photos in the slide show demonstrate, it's going for a more fun, colorful vibe than its predecessor, which closed after less than a year in business.
The menu is heavy on seafood and steaks, and is billed as "American with Asian accents." Check out a few of the dishes below. There's also a lot of whiskey, including a number of Japanese labels, as well as a bar menu of snacks like soup dumplings and short rib buns.
