Schnipper's Shakes Its Way Over to Midtown East

Midtown office folks craving classic burgers and chili dogs have a new haunt to hold their weekly team meetings, as Schnipper's Quality Kitchen opened its third location earlier this week. The modern day take on a classic Route 66 diner, executive chef Jonathan Schnipper along with his brother Andrew have also introduced a few new menu items to accompany favorites like homemade milkshakes and fried onion rings. One new cast member only available at this location: a cheeseburger with griddled onions and a special pink sauce, the same burger that placed second at the 2013 New York City Wine and Food Festival's Blue Moon Burger Bash. The bi-level space can hold up to 116 hungry patrons and also plans to offer online delivery in the upcoming weeks in addition to its current take-out option. Those who are looking for an in-house nostalgic dining experience - complete with comic-inspired artwork covering the walls - can find it Monday through Saturday from 11AM-9PM.
