Smorgasburg Returns This Weekend, Announces 16 New Vendors

The madness that is the outdoor Smorgasburg food market officially reopens this Saturday, April 2 at the original Williamsburg location, as well as Sunday, April 3 at the Breeze Hill location in Prospect Park. In addition to returning favorites, a slew of new food offerings will debut this weekend. Check out the full list below:

90 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn (Saturday)

Lincoln Rd. at Ocean Ave., Brooklyn (Sunday)

2nd City Beef
A take on the classic Chicago "Italian beef" sandwich, topped with provolone and spicy giardiniera (pictured above).

Saturday + Sunday

Banana pudding served by the scoop with flavors including banana, s'mores, matcha and strawberry (pictured above)

Big Mozz: Pizza
Saturday + Sunday
30 Under 30 honoree Matt Gallira, the mastermind behind Big Mozz's injected mozzarella balls (and mozz sticks) is debuting Neapolitan pizza. The pizzas will bake inside custom copper-clad ovens that reach 1000 degrees. Mozzarella for these pies will be hand-stretched, naturally.

Saturday + Sunday
An EMP alum is responsible for these quirky quail eggs on a skewer, a common breakfast item in China. Options including traditional sesame and cumin with chili sauce plus flavors like Parmesan, truffle and brioche. 

The Choripan

This common Argentinean street food is made with grilled sausage, chimichurri sauce, lettuce, tomato and mayo served on soft bread (pictured above). At The Chorpian, the team taps a family recipe to make their own sausage. 

Fedoroff's South Philly Cheesesteaks
Saturday + Sunday

Last year, Federoff's Roast Pork provided Smorgasburg with their take on an Italian-American classic, the roast pork sandwich. This year they're doing South Philly cheesesteaks. Both sandwiches are iconic to the city of Brotherly Love.

Bodega-inspired sandwiches with awesome names. 

Jianbing Co.
Saturday + Sunday
The popular Shanghai street crepe/wrap is the main event here, filled with beef, tofu, chicken and more.

Kimchi Kooks
Saturday + Sunday
Using an old family recipe, this mother and son team makes small batch Korean kimchi, which they sell in jars and will serve in hot items like pancakes and dumplings. 

Doner kebabs are a German street food staple: Marinated roasted meat is served with veggies on a focaccia-esque bread. This West Berlin native does his take, and pairs them with imported sodas.

Saturday Starting April 23

This newest ice cream vendor specializes in flavors like Turkish coffee and orange fennel. 

Oni Sauce
Saturday + Sunday
Japanese snacks are the name of the game here like karaage, Japanese fried chicken; gobo chips, shoestring thin chips made from burdock root; and gyu tataki, a seared beef salad. 

Red Table Catering
Saturday + Sunday
Breakfast sandwiches with homemade cheddar-ancho beer cheese melted over a seasoned maple sausage patty will shake up your usual BEC routine (pictured above).

Rubyzaar Baked
Saturday + Sunday
Cookies inspired by songs! The Midnight Train to Georgia is made with peaches, pecans, maple and dark chocolate; or try the Keith Moonpie with burnt marshmallows, crushed graham crackers and dark chocolate. You’ll also find Rubyzaar at the Stand Coffee//Smorgasburg pop-up at the new Samsung 837 store in Chelsea.

Tramezzini NYC

Venetian-inspired sandwiches filled with meat and cheese, made using imported ingredients.

Get your Instagram cameras ready. This crazy combo of waffles and ice cream is known in Hong Kong as gai dan jai. They debuted at winter Smorgasburg and have been a huge hit (above).
