Julian Medina's refined Mexican food empire Toloache opens its Greenwich Village branch, Toloache Thompson, tonight. The chef has also added a few new dishes for the Thompson Street location, including a flap sirloin steak served with fried pork rinds and masa dumplings; and a crab meat tostada with peanut salsa. The restaurant will begin accepting reservations for dinner service today with additional lunch and brunch hours expected to debut shortly. The restaurant also offers online delivery for their Upper East Side, Midtown, and Financial District locations, so village residents who can't bear the cold can expect to dine on warm tortilla soup, burritos, and tortas from the comfort of their couch in the upcoming weeks.
