'Top Chef' Finalist Ed Cotton Lands at Sotto 13

Ed Cotton, a previous finalist on Top Chef and formerly of David Burke Townhouse, has been appointed Executive Chef at Sotto 13. The chef aims to expand the West Village restaurant's current menu of pizza and tapas, with new dishes planned to appear later this month. One concept that will stay is the restaurant's focus on shareable small plates. With Cotton's background as a sous chef for six seasons on Iron Chef America as well as working in the kitchens of db Bistro Moderne among others, we're eager to see what Cotton comes up with.
