Chicago chef Paul Kahan (The Publican, Blackbird) and One Off Hospitality is expanding their mini-empire with their latest, Nico Osteria, which opened Monday night and is a tribute to all things Italian. Check out a peek at the space and menu right here.

Over in Seattle, the infamous "Chef in a Hat" (of Top Chef Masters fame) Thierry Rautureau has opened his latest Loulay this week, his third and most ambitious restaurant to date. Read about it right here.
In Philly, three potential mega openings all going down (maybe) this Friday. Kevin Sbraga's Fat Ham, Justin Bogle's Avance and Jose Garces' new Cuban diner Rosa Blanca. Stay tuned for word on these big yet unconfirmed openings.
