While you’re shopping Midtown Village boutiques on Small Business Saturday, take advantage of a brand new weekend lunch option. Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran’s Barbuzzo is as hot as ever, and November 30 marks the first time the modern Mediterranean will open during the day on Saturday.
Available from noon-3 PM, the menu will be the same as the weekday lunch offerings, which means caciocavallo-stuffed meatballs, cavatappi with smoked pork ragu and a half-dozen wood-fired pizzas (you want the prosciutto, with black grapes, gorgonzola, walnuts and arugula). Pies run $13-$15 and other plates hover around $11. There’s also an ever-changing antipasti plate, loaded with seven or eight roasted veggies, olives and cheese for $13 (215-546-9300).
