Coffee, Design & Print Cafe Coming to University City

By Danya Henninger  |  October 24, 2013

Replica Creative’s Keith Leaphart recognizes coffee often plays more than a bit part in the creative process. To that end, this November he’ll launch the Creative Cafe @ Replica in University City. In addition to pouring La Colombe coffee and serving Di Bruno Bros. eats, the cafe will offer graphic design and printing services.

Located at 3711 Market Street in the University City Science Center (also home to an outpost of Han Dynasty), the Creative Cafe @ Replica will allow guests to pop in for a coffee and snack just like any other neighborhood cafe. If, however, you also happen to be looking for new business cards, a banner for your upcoming event or even wedding invitations, you can make the most of your time and enjoy coffee or lunch while discussing your materials with Replica’s design professionals.

Tables with access to a communal printer will also be available for use by students and other creative types who want to work on their own design projects while nibbling on pastries and sipping lattes. Leaphart, whose Center City design firm has been steadily growing since its 2008 launch, envisions the cafe as a “creative hub.” Work on the space - formerly home to Rex 1516 co-owner Evan Malone’s NextFab Studio - has already begun, so stay tuned for more details on food, drink and hours soon.
