Public service announcement: this weekend is your last chance to lay your lips on a salted caramel budino pop. The frozen form of the cult-favorite Barbuzzo dessert - a brilliant brainstorm from chef Marcie Turney’s partner Valerie Safran - debuted at the beginning of August as a weekend-only treat, and has sold out every day since.

Make plans to visit the couple’s 13th Street boutique Verde between noon and 2 PM on Friday, Saturday or Sunday to score your sweet on a stick. The decadent pop is made of caramel pudding frozen around a core of salted caramel and dark chocolate cookie crumbs. The whole thing is then dipped in liquid chocolate and dusted with Maldon sea salt.

Last tip: you may want to arrive early to get a jump on the line. Unlike the Cronut (we were not impressed), this $5 treat is worth the wait.
