Where to Eat Brunch This Weekend
Santucci’s makes what we consider one of the best square pies in Philadelphia, but - while we’re definitely fans of pizza for breakfast - the Italian Market pizzeria also serves a great dine-in brunch. Chef Bobby Saritsoglou does great things with eggs, whether in frittata, omelet or Benedict (with proscuitto!) form, and you don't want to go through life without trying his house-baked cheddar biscuit topped with sausage gravy and a sunny-side-up egg.
If you’re in the mood for a sweet start, the cinnamon brioche French toast with caramelized apples will more than satisfy - but you might have trouble choosing between that and the pancakes with banana, Nutella and hazelnut butter. Another bonus: brunch is served both Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM-3 PM, making it easy to catch the goods, no matter what time you roll out of bed (215-825-5304).
