Where to Eat Brunch This Weekend

By Danya Henninger | October 18, 2013 By Danya Henninger  |  October 18, 2013

Dock Street Brewing Co. debuted brunch for the first time in its 28-year history this September, and the new Sunday meal has been drawing crowds to the the former firehouse. Along with breakfast versions of the West Philly brewpub’s famous pizza, there are calzones stuffed with morning favorites, frittatas and new vegan pizza options.

Continue the fun of your Saturday night by pairing the food with beer cocktails like the “Brewdriver” and the “Firehouse Maria.” If there’s a daytime Eagles game (like this weekend’s showdown with the Dallas Cowgirls), it will play on the large projector. The dining room is open from noon-5 PM (though the kitchen closes at 4 PM), and you can also score discounted $10 growler fills to extend the party thoughout the night back home (215-726-2337).
