Where to Eat Brunch This WeekendBy Danya Henninger
September 20, 2013 By Danya Henninger | September 20, 2013
Thanks to proprietor Holly Ricciardi, you can now start your weekend mornings with the relaxed, all-in-one-bite dish that is pie. South Street West’s Magpie has launched Sunday brunch with a quad of special items baked specially for this meal.
On the savory side, quiche - a form of pie, after all - comes with broccoli-cheddar or bacon-onion-Gruyère filling. If you like a bit of sweet with your salt, go for the sausage apple bread pudding pie, and if you’re set to sugar out, go for the sweet crumb cake.
Brunch starts at 11 AM, dishes run $5-$8.50, and the full lineup of seasonal pies is also available. Plus, in addition to OJ and coffee, Magpie is shaking up Bloody Mary mix for that BYO-vodka-pie mashup you always dreamed about. Check the full menu below (267-519-2904).
