You can actually order from the “scratch brunch” menu at Bottle Bar East any day of the week, but a weekend visit will optimize the amount of time you have to sample the housemade specials at this Fishtown bar and bottle shop.
For example, the hash and fried egg shown above comes over either smoked salmon or corned beef, and just deciding which of the dozens and dozens of beers to pair with either one could take a while.
You can opt for prosciutto on your egg and cheese sandwich, and duck fat biscuits come with sausage gravy. There’s always a changing sweet entree as well. Best part: everything is $9 or less, so you’ll have plenty left over to snag a mixed six to take home (267-909-8867).
