It’s not unusual to find popcorn on the appetizer section of menus around town. We’ve tasted our way though a version loaded with bacon at La Mesa’s Rivieria Supper Club, enjoyed Currant American Brasserie’s “popcorn of the moment” and noshed on a unique savory version that complements the cocktails at Sycamore Den. But lately, we’ve noticed it - ahem - popping up on dessert menus to elevate sweet treats with a unique, crunchy twist. Here are three awesome popcorn-laced desserts to try out.
