It seems that hardly a week has gone by this year without news of a new beer pub or brewery, and Eater SF discovers just how true this is with a map of 27 new or soon-to-open spots in the Bay Area. Forthcoming highlights include the new Dogpatch brewery from Haight Street stalwarts Magnolia, a sour beer specialist called the Rare Barrel and the first local taproom for Sierra Nevada. The map charts a particular boom happening in the East Bay, which has enjoyed a fruitful year of new beer gardens and outdoor drinking establishments; check our recent guide for more.
