Fog City Starts Lunch and Brunch This WeekBy Tamara Palmer | October 16, 2013 By Tamara Palmer | October 16, 2013
Fog City has been open for dinner for a few weeks with a brand new look and feel in the former Fog City Diner space. Now, the fresh establishment from veteran chef and restaurateur Bruce Hill introduces weekday lunch and weekend brunch service beginning on October 18 and 19, respectively. The brunch menu is still under wraps, but lunch offerings include the Fog City Hot Brown (roasted heritage turkey with Pt. Reyes cheddar mornay sauce, Early Girl tomatoes, bacon and sourdough), a smoked salmon smørrebrød (Danish open-faced sandwich on sourdough rye-seed bread with smoked egg salad, avocado and fresh herbs) and a Saigon dip of shaved roast pork, spicy pickled vegetables, chile aioli, cilantro and pho dipping broth. Hours for both lunch and brunch are 11:30 AM-2:30 PM.
