Left Bank Brasseries Bring Back Fête AlsacienneBy Tamara Palmer | January 9, 2014 By Tamara Palmer | January 9, 2014
Chef Roland Passot's Left Bank Brasserie restaurants in Larkspur, Menlo Park and San Jose will once again host the annual Fête Alsacienne from January 13-17 as a tribute to the Alsace region of France. In addition to the regular menus, which are different at each location, the restaurants will offer Alsatian à la carte specials ($14.50-27.50) plus a flight of three Alsace appellation wines ($14). The specials also will vary slightly at each Left Bank, but all will offer dishes such as flammekueche (thin tart with bacon, onion and crème fraîche) and la choucroute garnie (sauerkraut, knackwurst, smoked pork loin and belly).
