Best Thing We Ate
Primavera's Line-Drawing ChilaquilesBy Tamara Palmer | December 9, 2013 By Tamara Palmer | December 9, 2013
The Saturday installment of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is drawing slightly lighter crowds as many Bay Areans opt to stay snuggled under a blanket away from the colder temperatures. That's good news for fans of the Primavera stand, the mobile outgrowth of Sonoma County restaurant El Molino Central, which draws lines and usually sells out of items early each week. The menu in SF changes weekly, but their famous chilaquiles make frequent appearances. Hunt them down as if life depends on them, for the dish of corn tortilla chips simmered in spicy salsa and served with refried beans, avocado, crema and eggs from Sonoma farm Field of Greens will power you through the cold snap.
