Social Kitchen & Brewery in the Inner Sunset is celebrating hop season with today's release of a new beer called Wet Hop American Summer, reports the San Francisco Brewers Guild. Brewer Kim Sturdavant describes the offering as having a “humongous array of complex fresh hop aromas invading your olfactory senses and taste buds [and is] unlike anything you experience the rest of the year.”
The name of the brew pays tribute to the 2001 cult comedy flick Wet Hot American Summer. Serious beer nerds, take note: He'll start pouring from a special cask-conditioned version starting at 4 PM.
