Ramping up their cocktail program, Queen West Nota Bene recently unveiled a drink menu centered around gin as the title character. After spending some time touring through Spain, owner Yannick Bigourdan decided that it was time to step up the restaurant`s gin game. "Gin is very popular in Spain, I wanted to bring that experience here," he says. "So far its been a big hit".
Along with a number of gin themed cocktails, the menu also allows you order the spirit neat. It arrives with a plate of sliced cucumbers, dried juniper berries and flower petals. After you've experienced the gin the way you like, try it with some of the house-made ginger beer.
