Online Ontario wine merchant WineWire is hosting a complimentary pop-up tasting bar this week in the historic St. Lawrence market district.

Since launching in the fall of 2012, WineWire has aimed to make the process of ordering wine online easier by bridging the relationship between consumers and local wine agents. Currently more than 1,500 local and international wines are available for purchase through the site online. Now, owners Adam Bekhor and Nelson Abreu have created a pop-up shop to bring some of these wines to the public for tasting. The pop-up runs today through November 22, 12 PM to 7 PM, and there will be complimentary tastings throughout this week. The bar will feature approximately 50 different wines from Monterey Pinot Noir to Australian Shiraz.
