Perhaps spending Super Bowl Sunday elbow to elbow with a hundred people you've never met isn't your thing. Or maybe "let's have a couple people over to watch the game" has turned into a guest list of 30. Or you could be one of those people who got roped into hosting a Super Bowl party ages ago - but the cooking and cleanup has gotten old. Never fear - many local restaurants are only too happy to do the hard work for you. Here are 10 no-muss, no-fuss places you can count on for excellent game-day takeout:

  • Because ridiculously long subs are fun...

    Where: Red Apron Butcher
Order this: The 30-in. Italian, pimiento dip, pork rinds, chili
Details: The Italian, which serves up to eight and costs $50, can be ordered until noon Saturday. The other items can be picked up from the pantry.
    Union Market, 202-524-6807; Merrifield, 703-676-3550

    Where: G by Mike Isabella
Order this: Spiced baby goat, Italian stallion and roasted turkey heros
Details: The sandwich spot needs 48 hours' notice for its new 3-ft. subs, so order by 5 PM Friday for Super Bowl pickup. The sandwiches, which feed up to 18, range from $85 to $105. See the full menu here.
    2201 14th St. NW; 202-234-5015

  • Southern-style Super Bowl...

Where: GBD Fried Chicken & Doughnuts
Order this: Fried chicken and donuts (duh ...)
Details: The restaurant is offering a Super Bowl package that includes a bucket of fried chicken (two each of breasts, drums, thighs and whole wings) and four donuts for $30. Same-day ordering is okay, but preordering is recommended.
    1323 Connecticut Ave. NW; 202-524-5210

    Where: Society Fair
Order this: The Big Game Bag
Details: The bagged dinner - which includes mini pulled-pork sandwiches, a trio of dips, cheeses and salami, and mini crisped-rice treats - costs $100 and serves 10. Add 30 sriracha-honey chicken wings for $20 or a 12-pack of PBR for $11.25. Bags must be picked up Sunday by noon and can be ordered here.

Because guacamole was just the gateway drug...

    Where: Fuego Cocina y Tequileria
    Order this: The Papa Grande
Details: Taco ($45) and wing ($55) platters are available, but you might as well go whole hog with the Papa Grande ($70), which includes a dozen each of empanadas, hot wings, chorizo sopes and al pastor quesadillas, as well as a quart of fresh guacamole and a pound of carnitas with corn tortillas and traditional accompaniments. Orders must be placed by Thursday and picked up by 5 PM Sunday.
    2800 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington; 571-970-2180

    Where: Taco Bamba
Order this: The Bamba Box or the Bamba Bar
Details: The Box ($50.50) features 12 tacos, rice, beans, chips and guacamole, while the Bar ($200) feeds 22 with build-your-own-taco fixings plus grilled guacamole, pico de gallo, queso cotija, lettuce, onion and cilantro. Orders can be picked up at the store or delivered within 2 miles for a $15 fee. Free delivery is offered for orders over $200.
2190 Pimmit Dr., Falls Church; 703-639-0505

  • When Domino's won’t do...

    Where: Pizzeria Orso
Order this: The Margherita DOC, the Crudo or the Fun Guy pizzas
Details: The Falls Church pizzeria is offering a buy-one, get-one-free deal on Super Bowl Sunday from 3-7 PM, with a max of eight pies total. They also have a reserved take-out space out front for easy access. Since chef Will Artley only makes about 300 pizza crusts a day, it’s first come, first served - so call early.
    400 S. Maple Ave., Falls Church; 703-226-3460

    Where: Pete’s Apizza
Order this: Cheese or pepperoni pies
Details: Pete’s delivers - but there will likely be very long waits on Super Bowl Sunday. They are offering $2 off each 18-in. cheese or pepperoni pizza for those who preorder anytime this week before 10 PM Saturday and pick up their own pizzas 3-6 PM Sunday.
