Coming Soon: Pinstripes in GeorgetownBy Rina Rapuano | December 5, 2013 By Rina Rapuano | December 5, 2013
Bowling and bocce fans got some good news today. After a rumored November opening, the bowling alley and Italian-American restaurant Pinstripes announced today that it expects to open its doors at The Shops at Georgetown Park in January.
The bistro’s extensive lunch and dinner menu includes salads, pastas, pizzas and flatbreads, soups, sandwiches and a large-plates section that features such dishes as filet mignon trio, chicken Parmesan and pine-nut-crusted Chilean sea bass.
The 34,000-square-foot space will house 14 bowling lanes, six bocce courts and a wine cellar, plus will host live jazz performances. The patio faces the C&O Canal and will offer blankets and an outdoor fireplace during colder months. The chain already has four other locations in Illinois and Minnesota, with Georgetown serving as its fifth outpost. Reservations for events of up to 600 guests are already being accepted.
Pinstripes will be open Monday to Thursday, 11:30 AM-11 PM; Friday, 11:30 AM-12:30 AM; Saturday, 10 AM-12:30 AM; and Sunday, 10 AM-10 PM.
