- Mike Isabella’s team announced today that the Top Chef alum will hawk his G by Mike Isabella sandwiches at Nationals Park near the First Base Gate starting March 29. G at Nationals Park will offer the original location’s top-selling items like the Chicken Parm as well as an Italian hero and the popular roasted cauliflower sandwich.
- Hot on the heels of the Dining Secrets of DC story we posted yesterday, Washington City Paper unearthed a cheeky new underground supper club that plans to launch April 5. The article quotes the Eventbrite page, which explains that the food for the $35 experience will be cooked by anonymous area chefs and makes statements like, “If you enjoy being enslaved to what is ‘good’ and what is ‘fun’ in Washington, D.C. this may not be for your weak mind. This is a chance to live, experience and taste. This isn't processed or filtered.” Mmm-kay.
- BLT Steak will offer a special 10 Till 10 menu with 10 dishes under $10 while Congress is in recess from March 17-21. The menu will include playful takes on dishes like corned beef and cabbage, bacalao croquettes and yellowtail crudo and will be available from 5-10 PM at the bar.
