- Matchbox FoodGroup has announced the release of a private-label wine to mark the company’s 10th anniversary. The nonvintage blend from Lake County, CA will be served by the glass ($8) and by the bottle ($28) at all Matchbox and Ted’s Bulletin locations. (No word yet on how well it'll pair with the peanut-butter-bacon burger at Ted's.)
- The Washington Business Journal has reported that District Taco is poised to open a Dupont Circle shop at 1919 M St. NW. What started as a taco truck in Rosslyn now has brick-and-mortar shops in Arlington, Metro Center and Capitol Hill. For 2014, the taqueria plans to expand its breakfast tacos and coffee offerings, according to the report.
