- The Washington Post reports on which Mardi Gras celebrations have been postponed and which ones will let the good times roll - despite the weather.

- Washingtonian has been updating its extensive list of snow deals, including chicken soup and bar snacks at Cashion’s Eat Place and an all-night happy hour starting at 4 PM at El Chucho.

- This month, martini fans will find a different kind of March Madness happening in Bethesda, where a monthlong martini competition among 10 restaurants there will take place. Participating spots include Assaggi, Jaleo, Raku, Mussel Bar & Grille and Redwood, and martinis will range in price from $5-$8. Those who vote via Bethesda Row’s Facebook page could win a $500 dining certificate for up to 10 guests.

- Legal Sea Foods celebrates the beginning of Chesapeake Rockfish season with three special rockfish dishes offered Wednesday through April 1. Rockfish tostones with roasted mango and poblano salsa ($10.95) will be the appetizer, while entrees of oven-roasted rockfish Rockefeller ($19.95) and rockfish and squid acqua pazza ($19.95) will also be on offer at the Penn Quarter, Crystal City and Tysons locations.
