BLT Steak celebrates the limited-edition DC release of Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select Tennessee Whiskey this Saturday at 6:30 PM with a four-course Italian-inspired menu that pays homage to the singer and his favorite whiskey brand. Dishes include a riff on eggplant parmesan and veal milanese, and each course will be paired with a Jack Daniel’s selection. Bourbon Glover Park hosts a Pappy Van Winkle tasting Saturday starting at 9 PM, when the long history of the whiskey will be explored and the following bottles will be sampled: 2013 Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year; Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot B 12 year; Special Reserve 15 year; Special Reserve 20 year; and Special Reserve 23 year. Watch some of the area’s most notable chefs at work on demo stages of the first annual Great Taste of Tysons held Saturday and Sunday from 12-6 PM at the Lerner Town Square at Tysons II (8205 Galleria Drive).
