Add Lupo Verde to the list of Italian restaurants opening at a steady clip around the city. The Lalou Group announced today that its fourth DC concept is slated to open December 16 on the booming 14th Street NW corridor, serving housemade charcuterie, antipasti, wood-fired pizzas and housemade pastas, among other Italian dishes.

The 100-seat restaurant’s menu was created by corporate chef Orlando Amaro, and customers will be able to purchase 70 percent of the restaurant’s menu to-go. Italian pantry items like housemade cheese, prosciutto, breads and pastas also will be available for those who want to prepare their own Italian spread at home. Other highlights of the soon-to-open restaurant include housemade vermouth and liquors, three wines on draft and a private patio set to open on warm days.

Lalou Group also runs Ulah Bistro, Tunnicliff’s Tavern and Station 4.

1401 T St. NW; 202-827-4726
