Voltaggio Pulls Plug on Lunchbox

Bryan Voltaggio’s casual Frederick restaurant, Lunchbox, announced its last day via Facebook at the end of November: “Stop in for lunch today. It's our last day on the creek. Thank you all for your patronage we'll miss you.” The restaurant, which was nearly two years old, was the well-known chef’s way of rethinking fast food.

Eater DC confirmed the closing today and provided additional details, including the fact that a lack of foot traffic was a contributing factor to the closure.

Here's another Facebook message from Lunchbox that some might find handy: “If you have outstanding gift cards they can still be used at our other restaurants Volt, Family Meal or Range.”
