A locals’ “go-to” , this South Sloper is an “old reliable” for “solid” , “affordable” American fare delivered by an “accommodating” crew; the “pretty” main dining room is fit for a casual “date” , while the “intimate” round-the-corner pub offers the same menu with “sports on the telly.”

If I could leave zero I would. New and perspective employees beware. They owe me and several other co-workers credit card tips and refuse to pay. Stay away from working at this place unless you wanna waste your own money and time. Completely unorganized and a hot ass mess. I have never worked in a more unprofessional place in my life and I've lived and worked in the restaurant biz in NYC for 12 years. They should be exposed on what they are doing to their workers and be sure I will be looking into doing so until I'm payed and my former co-workers are paid IN FULL what they are LEGALLY owed.

I've eaten here a couple times and the food and service was exceptional. I have never needed reservations which seems incredible since the food & service is consistently good. Usually no wait for a table. When I go for brunch I’ll usually order the jerk chicken but be warned it’s extremely spicy (served with mango butter so yummy)! I'd pass on the dessert, but everything else we have eaten has been delicious.

The food here is good, but it would be nice if they had a few more small plates options and it's a little bit pricey for what you get. The recent shift to a focus on seafood has added interesting dishes to their menu but might be a tough sell for this part of Park Slope (at least in terms of getting frequent, regular business). It's a great little neighborhood restaurant, the service is always wonderful and they have a nice brunch menu.
