Experience "Paris in San Francisco" at this Hayes Valley French-Med brasserie where the "charming" dining room serves as a "romantic" backdrop for "varied, flavorful" fare "prepared to perfection" ; "standout" cocktails, an "impressive" wine list and "expert" service draw a crowd ranging from "young hipsters" to "Civic Center" attendees.

Our party of six was seated as soon as we arrived (reservation made on Open Table) and we had a great table by the window. The service was excellent and the food options were explained and the suggestions were well received. From the cocktails to the starters to the entrees and dessert, everything was delicious and prepared perfectly! With six of us we were able to try many different things. I loved the potato-crusted salmon the most, but everything I ate was tasty. We never felt rushed during the meal and the server was attentive but not overbearing. Water glasses were always full and the food was perfectly timed to arrive together and just as the previous course was ending. I had budgeted about $100 for the meal and with two cocktails, starters, an entree and dessert I stayed right on target. I would definitely return - it was the perfect pre-theater dining experience!

Excellent bar. The drink menu and bar staff deliver memorable delicious cocktails. The food also is rich with flavor. Really good oysters, french onion soup. A must if you're in the area.

Yum! Stopped here for some drinks and apps before heading to the Symphony with my girls. We were running late (fancy clothes takes more time!) and the server at the bar was quick attentive and helpful with a speedy check. Cocktails were fabulous, apps we're creative twists on classics. Fried garbanzos didn't last a minute on the plate! Nom!
