A “true izakaya experience” awaits at this East Midtown Japanese, where the “fantastic” non-sushi menu highlights “traditional” robata grill specialties; the style might be “relaxed” , but that doesn’t rule out “hefty” tabs – though there's always the “cost-effective lunch special.”

Food and service is so amazing at this restaurant. There is a cute girl at the front reception and she greets people with the sweetest smile ever. As she takes you into the restaurant to get seated, you will be amazed at the menu that is brought to you with the sheer vast number of Japanese cuisines which most you have never heard of before. We got the food and the taste was amazing nothing can be comparable with this place. Even the rice some special thing happening which made it even better. The price tag is slightly high but it's definitely a place to take someone on a special occasion. The lunch menu is much cheaper you can still experience the awesomeness of this place at the fraction of a

Felt like I was back in Japan. Thought the service was great, very polite, I wasn’t rushed. The food was well prepared and fresh, I left feeling great. I had the shishito peppers, chicken Tsukuba (HIGHLY recommend), and a salmon rice bowl with broth. Excellent and would like to return with a group as they have small private dining booths!

Tried seasonal sukiyaki with A4 wagyu and it was delicious! The mushrooms were super juicy and the wagyu was super tasty! Liked it and would probably visit again for other cuisines. They also provide lunch set which is quite affordable. Remember to make a reservation for dinner.
