Wonderful Italian place, perfectly located and excellent service. The food was delicious and the ingredients used in the pizza were fresh. I got the Pizza Primavera and it tastes amazing. The pizzas come in a thin crisp crust which is tasty. Highly recommend if you plan a nice dinner in North Beach. The ambience is great and has these wooden wine casks for wallpaper. The service was prompt, only thing they don't have an extensive drinks menu.

Walked in and was seated immediately... Only had a glass of wine and shared a margarita pizza but it was great. The pizza was fresh, had a great flavor and crispy crust (not a soggy center). The staff was friendly and we had a great corner view of the park.

Based on a nice time we had a year ago with a party of 12, I returned this year with an equally large group from work. I found the owner disengaged compared to last time when he greeted us and assured very good service and a real sense of hospitality. The waiter was overworked and inattentive due to ours and another equally large party. One server can't take of 25 people adequately along with several other parties. We found ourselves fighting for attention the entire time. The food was uninspired and really only adequate (except the pork steak which was nice). And plates were inexplicably garnished with some kind of blue gel...totally ugly and unappetizing. The desserts were sloppy piles of goo, every last one topped with the same pile of raspberry gelato. Won't be back.
