“They know how to grill fish” at this Forest Hills taverna, whose “varied menu” ups the local ante for “traditional Greek dishes” ; it can get “noisy” , but it's “amiable” if you're “not in the mood to go to Astoria” and if you score a seat outside.

Good tasting Greek food. Perfectly sized portions to get you full. Service was very attentive and quick and always refilled my water for me. Little cozy place with little wait time even on a busy weekend. Can be a bit in the pricey range. Overall a pretty good place for some Greek food.

I am consistently impressed with my meals here! The crab cake is the best one I've ever tasted, even compared with Chesapeake Bay and City Island. It's on the Prix Fixe menu for an additional surcharge, but I think it's an excellent value. The service can be hit or miss, this particular visit was a miss, we had to ask for water refills several times, and the waiter mixed up our doggy bags. Nonetheless, I will return for that crab cake :)

Came here with the husband and a friend who lives in the area. The restaurant is a reasonable size and we managed to get a table, even on a Saturday evening, without having to book ahead. We had some hummus along with pita bread for dipping to start, as well as a beet salad. Both were nice. Foe the main I decided to go for the octopus, which was one large tentacle that had been cooked perfectly, tender and not rubbery. The restaurant wasn't too loud and we could hold a conversation without needing to raise our voices. The waiter was pleasant and the service fast. A nice place in Forest Hills.
