“Flavors straight out of Caracas” are stuffed into “fluffy” , affordable arepas at these “something-different” Astoria Venezuelans; the bite-size Cafe original sports a “diner atmosphere” that suggests “takeout” , but the Grill offshoot is roomier, with a broader menu that includes Caribbean and Med dishes.

I love this restaurant! Authentic Venezuelan food and atmosphere. Always make a point to visit on my trips back to the old neighborhood!

I had the chicken soup and it was delicious, arepas are really good as well, it’s a small place but cozy and great service, prices are good as well

The arepas I had here today were on par with the excellent arepas I've had in Bushwick and Jackson Heights: homemade corn pockets of warm goodness stuffed with ample toppings. The lunch special is a great deal, as you get to choose a glass of tropical juice and any of the arepas for $7. The decor is a little basic but the place is clean and the service is friendly. Service seems to fluctuate depending on how busy the restaurant is. I'll be back, no doubt.
