"Even when compared with Paris standards" , this "charming" Lower Pacific patisserie/cafe is an "awe-inspiring" showcase for baker Belinda Leong’s "world-class" "array" of "decadent pastries" (the "buttery" "kouign amann reigns supreme" ); the space sports an "appealing" "European feel" , and while "the line can be daunting" , "dessert addicts" "pretty much can't go wrong."

Phenomenal baked goods, super fresh, best ingredients. For the quality of the pasties, etc. the prices really are not out of line. Their breads are delicious too. Coffee is superb. Everything can be for take away or eat-in. I got there fifteen minutes after opening on a Saturday and the line was out the door, however not an issue to get a seat inside.

Oh delicate pastries, delectable cakes, scrumptious baked goodies and little bare hands... Wait, what?! As I was ordering few things I caught a staff member using her bare hands to place a little tartlet in a paper bag. Out of wax paper? All tongs got stolen? Whatever the case might be, I don't know where those hands have been! So for $7 per tiny cake slice I expect it to be handled properly, without extra freebie cold sore or some other "awesome" gift that keeps on giving...

This is very clean little place with very high quality edible goods! The pastries and sweets are made fresh and are delightfully delicious. Not overly sweet or heavy. Just tried their decaf Americano and was very pleased with the taste. It was definitely top 10% best coffee taste in my opinion. It is rather busy for obvious reasons, but not loud. A nice place to have little dessert in this neighborhood.
