“Hidden away” in the East Village, this “traditional” Lebanese is lauded for “mouthwatering” meals (the “meze are a must” ) at “reasonable prices” ; with a “friendly” staff manning the “low-key” quarters, “addicted” followers keep “coming back.”

Tasty dishes, mixed grill and lamb options are very very good. Menu is a bit convoluted with references, footnotes, and definitions sending you back and forth to figure out what each dish is. Restaurant is cramped, space is tight, not good for large groups. Wait staff are engaged and helpful.

The food is absolutely extraordinary. The chancliche was my favorite dish, but everything else we ordered was excellent as well. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a go-to for authentic and affordable Lebanese cuisine. Will definitely be back.

Food was excellent, service was attentive without being hovering. The restaurant is on the smaller side and can perhaps get loud when crowded, but I would absolutely come back again. We shared several dishes among our group and everything had great flavor and seasoning.
