We had a great late afternoon cocktail and conversation with Bardo’s bartender as we reviewed the dinner menu. The following day we made after theater reservations and we assured that the kitchen would be open for dinner until 10PM. We got to restaurant at 9:30 and it was very closed, all lights off. We found a reasonable alternative, but this was a first us in 35 + years of adventurous dining. We will be back next time through Minneapolis. o

My husband and I came to Bardo in February for a date. The food was exceptional; very high quality and unique flavors. They specialize in wine pairings, and though we did not choose to have wine that night, we plan to return to try it. We shared three different dishes as well as the bread. The bread was delicious, even the butter had many complex flavors. The serving sizes are quite small, so prepare to order at least two to make it a full meal. The atmosphere is peaceful and the wait staff is well equipped to answer questions.

Great place with a lot of taste and a menu that is full a treasure. Wine list is extensive and full of gems. The staff was awesome and knowledgeable. The restaurant is not very big, it’s a perfect place for a 5 Stars date or a just a great time if you’re a serious foodie.
