“Japanese-style Italian food” begs the question “where else but NY?” – and this “unusual” Flatiron “change of pace” comes through with “interesting” dishes led by a signature “pasta tossed in a Parmesan wheel” ; if the decor’s getting “dated” , the “hospitable” service is fine as is.

Great pasta place love the parmesan dishes. Good service but it can get crowded. Tip: plan your visit as the line forms by the bar and it can take some time to get seated. The pasta dishes are consistently good as are the specials. There is limited wine selection but the offerings are generally reasonably priced and good.

If one pays $25 for pasta, surely there is much to expect. Rather we were disappointed with a small portion of underwhelming food. The waiter was also very keen to clear our table for the next victims waiting in line at the door. Do yourself a favour and go to one of the many better Italian restaurants in NYC.

This place is so yummy! The pasta served out of the cheese wheel is so amazing. A must if you love cheese as much as I.
